Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-27
This policy explains what data Last Seen collects, why, and what control you have over it. Last Seen is a detective game; we only collect what the game and the leaderboard actually need to work.
Data we collect
Account identity via Firebase Authentication (an account identifier, and your e-mail if you sign in by e-mail or a third-party provider). Game data: scores, attempts, hints used and progress, stored in our PostgreSQL database and linked to your account identifier.
How we use it
To sign you in, save your progress, compute scores and display the leaderboards. We do not use your data for advertising.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions (Last Seen+) are handled entirely by the app stores (Google Play, App Store) through RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details (card number and the like); we only receive a subscription status that unlocks your benefits.
Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. We rely on technical processors (Firebase for sign-in, our database hosting, and RevenueCat for purchase validation) that handle data solely to provide their service.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Write to us to exercise these rights.
